Theme Song

I feel like this has been my theme song for a while now and especially this semester. Oh how I love Colbie Caillat! She makes everything better!

Update

So I have not written since I have been up at school! So much has happened but I will just touch on the highlights. I am rooming with three of the same girls, Ashley, Hollie, and Kalli. I LOVE them to death. Hollie calls us the "original peaches" which is quote from one of her favorite movies, A League of Their Own. We are also living with Ashley's old sister Mickenzie and Ashley and Kalli's friend from high school Sadie. They are all such a fun group of girls.
This semester has been one of the busiest I have had. With being in all major classes now and working I sometimes feel like I never have a free moment. I am working with the intramural sports program here called RecSports. I am a games manager and help manage the different sports going on. The sports I have managed are softball, flag football, ultimate Frisbee, basketball, and volleyball. I was on a flag football team and we ended up winning the championship! It was an intense game! The coolest part is that we didn't get scored on the entire season! I'm now on volleyball team. I actually have to get ready for it right now so I will have to finish up later. I'll just leave you with one of our roommate pictures. :)

End of Summer

My summer vacation is quickly coming to an end and I have mixed feelings about it. I am SOOOOOOOO excited to go back to school to see all of my roommates, live on my own, see friends, and even start school (talk to me around midterms and see how excited I am about school then... haha). I will be sad however leaving my family and friends from home, the beach, the sunshine, and all of the memories and fun times I've had this summer. I know I can't dwell on all of those memories all the time and it's time to make new ones. I'm so excited for another year at school to make those memories and see what new adventures will come my way. I feel as though BIG and exciting things will happen this next year. As much as I'm excited for these big things I am also nervous because with big things comes big decisions and frankly decisions scare me. I know that whatever comes my way though I will be able to handle it with the Lord's help and guidance from the Holy Ghost. I have learned and been reminded of a couple of things these past couple weeks...
1. The Lord said: "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it."
2. I CAN do hard things.
3. When you want to tell someone something then just talk to them. It saves you a lot of time worrying.
4. Best Friends are awesome! (Mine is especially so)I love talking her ear off telling her anything and everything.
5. My family is amazing! I know I don't tell them enough but I love them so much. They are interested in everything about my life (even if sometimes I get annoyed with all the questions). I am glad to know that I am loved.

Highlights from the Summer...

Matt and Emily's Wedding!

Jeff and Natalie's Wedding! (and catching the bouquet!)

Having Family around!

Being with friends!

Well tomorrow I will be packing probably all day... oh well at least that means I'll be getting closer to good ole' Idaho. Thank you to EVERYONE that made this summer a great one!

Office Work

So I am currently sitting at desk in a Law Office. My duties today were to 1. Clean the conference room desk, 2. Get the mail, and 3. Answer the phone and take any messages. I have already finished the first two and so now I am just sitting waiting for calls. In the almost 5 hours I have been here I have answered 2 calls. Sounds exciting huh? Well I'm getting payed for it so I actually don't care too much. After this job I'm going straight over to another Law Office to make phone calls to clients about an upcoming workshop. Again, not very exciting but it puts money in the bank. I miss playing with the little girl I used to nanny, Lyla. I miss taking our daily walks, going to the park, reading books, playing with toys, taking silly pictures, and yes I may even miss watching Yo Gabba Gabba and Sesame Street. Okay actually I probably don't but it was cute hearing here say "Yo" if she wanted Yo Gabba Gabba or "Elmo" for Sesame Street. Anyways, doing different jobs such as office work only reassures me that my major is the right choice for me and I'm supposed to work with children. In the meantime I will bear the borringness (I know that's not a word) of these jobs until I head back up to school where I will be trying to find a job there... oh how I just love working! haha NOT!

Skydiving!!!

On Monday the 26th I went Skydiving! I know many people thought I was absolutely crazy but it was awesome!!!! I definitely recommend it to anyone who as ever thought about it! I went with my Grandpa Harris. Earlier in the year we were watching the video of my brother Matt skydiving and I had mentioned how that would be kinda fun to do. My grandpa then said "ok. let's do it then." I was thinking oh great now I'm committed! Sure enough my grandpa followed through and we went. The sad thing is they ended up not letting him jump because he had a hip replacement about 6 years ago. LAME! oh well it was probably for the better and they let him come up with me in the plane!

YAY for skydiving!! I can't wait to go again! :)
